Short description
Easter is one of the most
important Christian festivals. Easter gather teachers and student across
Europe to celebrate together for the second time. In our project
“Easter Activities 2013” we are going to: vizit some European contries
by virtual travelling; introduce ourselves and our classroom(the door to
Europe); create Easter Crafts: decorate Easter Eggs; make Easter Cards,
etc.; learn Easter poems and songs; do Easter fun writing activities;
play Easter games. Our main aims are:to talk with children about
importance of this Christian festival; to make friends and to make
children laugh and be happy at school; to increase their motivation for
studying and give them real opportunity to communicate in English; to
improve their language competences by learning Easter poems, singing
Easter songs and doing Easter fun activities like: crosswords, puzzles,
sudokus, wordsearch, solving Math problems, reading Easter stories and
playing games in the schoolyard and in the classroom; to encourage
children to make their own “Easter activities book”; to raise pupils’
awareness of belonging to one European community; to use Internet and
modern technologies in teaching English and to cooperate with European
teachers; to make children laugh and be happy at school.
